Architecture is the name we give to all the physical and mental feelings we have in a built place.

Architecture is also a conscious joining of elements aimed at a meaningful whole.

I do this at Studioartec and Discourse Architecture.

The fresco restoration work marks the culmination of a series of interventions we have carried out on this sanctuary since 2006.
In 2008, I designed an extension to the church and we restored the adjoining house.
In 2011, we designed an access path for wheelchair users.
And now, the frescoes.

“In like 95% of situations where a disengagement or accident happens with autonomous vehicles, it’s a very regular, routine situation for humans.”

Tech companies claimed autonomous vehicles would reduce congestion. They add to it. Why would we believe any of their claims, especially about safety?
We Still Don’t Know if Robotaxis Are Safer Than Human Drivers
And even if self-driving technology proves to be less dangerous, there are many better ways to improve traffic safety and prevent fatal crashes.

A Non-denominational timber Chapel

Despite being far from perfect, this video, partly made with AI, conveys the idea of light entering the chapel as it follows the path of the sun. AI is used to help express the underlying idea of the project, not to create anything new, which is fundamental to me.

The other buildings of downtown: normative fabric. The everyday structures that don’t stand out, but frame the landmarks we notice. Often overlooked, they’re the backbone of downtowns. When cities value them, real local character emerges. #detroit #urbanobservations

Electric vehicles will end oil wars – if we let them
With the news of the US’ actions in Venezuela this morning, we are reminded again of how reducing oil demand can lead to less conflict – and electric vehicles are our best bet for doing so. more…

Extremely interesting article, especially the 2nd part. IMHO, the main difference between a humans and AI is not the way they think (which, a part from AI being binary, could be not so different, as some people start to think), but consciousness.
And the relationship btwn consciousness & thinking.
