The Guardian newspaper once called me a "Guerrilla Satirist" and the premier of Newfoundland and Labrador once called me "an arsehole."

Former journalist. Artist. Writer. Comms guy.
There actually is a post-apocalyptic novel about an underground city under Montreal. I remember reading it as a kid. www.goodreads.com/book/show/56...

The worst is when you cook something for yourself and it turns out a bit disappointing. Not inedible, just kinda not great.

And as you're eating it, you know that you're going to be working your way through this underwhelming meal for another half a week.

I feel like I average about two of these a week. Not because I'm like a public figure or anything. Just because once it's in the timeline and you read it back, sometimes you're like, "Actually I don't need this."

On your deathbed, nobody says "I wish I'd spent more time scrolling online."

The truth is everyone in their final moments comes to the same realization: "I wish I spent more quality time with my gundams."

My first reaction is that there is a way that maybe it's actually a problem if the outlying wards getting to maintain a pure unblemished yellowbelt suburbia of single-family homes and car culture, while enjoying the benefits of being on the doorstep of the metropolis. But... yeah... it's something.
