This time last week I was lying on the floor of a London hostel room having a heart attack while I waiting 40 minutes for an ambulance.

And yet thanks to the NHS being fucking amazing despite insufficient funding, I am alive and it cost me… nothing.

Universal health care. Fuck yeah.

The 12 Days of Christmas “advent calendars” piss me off.

Advent marks the fourth Sunday before Christmas until, well, Christmas. Modern calendars go from Dec 1 to the 24th.

The twelve days refer to Dec 25 to Jan 6.

These are different timespans!
