Latest in the AR glasses race. Although Snap are leaders in AR in general, I wonder if having a younger user base will end up working against them when it comes to expensive peripherals?

Middle-aged men trying to be cool are perhaps more likely early adopters and that's a big leap for Snap.

Open AI are developing a hardware device “that will move consumers beyond screens.” Given that Jony Ive (iPhone designer) is behind this, it feels like they have a much better shot vs other options on the market

Interesting essay about the timescales for AI to reach 'human-level' capability.

And how the definition of short-term is getting shorter.

This will be cool. I find current lack of of extensions on Android Chrome quite frustrating.
Looks like this new Chrome build might finally bring extensions to Android
Here's a sneak peek at Chrome’s Desktop Android version, rocking extension support.

Ever got caught not listening in a meeting? Of course not. But just in case, Google Meet now allows you to look back through the live transcription while the meeting is still happening.

Just because two claimants said that Siri targeted an ad for something they mentioned doesn’t mean that’s how it works, folks. I know everyone wants to believe. But this class action suit does not, in fact, prove one of the most popular conspiracy theories out there. www.reuters.com/legal/apple-...

This is really getting quite remarkable

• BlueSky user numbers have doubled in the past week and now total 3.5 million across US & UK 🚀

• Number of people deleting their X/Twitter account remains way up
