Nice to see some major brands supporting credible, less mainstream culture

Latest in the AR glasses race. Although Snap are leaders in AR in general, I wonder if having a younger user base will end up working against them when it comes to expensive peripherals?

Middle-aged men trying to be cool are perhaps more likely early adopters and that's a big leap for Snap.

Not the biggest, but one of our most important campaigns of the year at crossovercomms.com. Helping raise awareness of support options for sufferers of sexual abuse. Running across Meta, YouTube and mobile display in partnership with JCDecaux UK

Open AI are developing a hardware device “that will move consumers beyond screens.” Given that Jony Ive (iPhone designer) is behind this, it feels like they have a much better shot vs other options on the market

Ever got caught not listening in a meeting? Of course not. But just in case, Google Meet now allows you to look back through the live transcription while the meeting is still happening.

(Resisting the temptation to tag anyone in particular)

This is fun. You get 10 chances to guess the music artist of the day & it tells you how close you are on each turn.

Think I might get addicted

New, very explicit opt-in request on Google maps for use of location data to measure store visits from ads

IMHO they should have added some kind of consumer benefit comment

Meta's new restricted targeting approach makes location an even more critical part of their offering.

Brands advertising in the EU should really be thinking about how they can tap into tactics like hyperlocal area profiling and automated location budget optimisation for paid social.
