Not all #StreetArt comes from a can of paint or an intentional human hand. Sometimes it’s already there… the chipped walls, old fixtures, and sun-faded bricks. Streets and buildings sometimes make their own art without even trying. Images from Asilah, Morocco (that’s my mom at 83 in the last pic).

Just as nuclear war leaves scars on the earth and people, so too does the legacy of uranium mining on Diné (Navajo) lands - silent, toxic, and deadly. A mural reminds us of these forgotten miners and demands justice and healing for communities still suffering from the fallout. #MuralMonday
