As a retired Australian, living down under watching MS NOW most days altho it’s now almost too horrific to watch. The one day I will not miss is Tuesdays when @maddow.bsky.social airs down under. Rachel inspires hope & when this madness leaves DC I think she’ll go down in history as a real leader!!

Well if you had any doubts about Trumps authoritative tendencies it’s all out in open now. Stunning move to bomb Iran with no consultation with Congress! O.M.G!

Harvard Law professor Michael Klarman gave an inspiring lecture about the need for lawyers to protect democracy. I was honored that he noted the attacks and threats aimed at me. His words serve to steel my spine and make me more committed than ever to fighting for democracy.

Thank you professor.🙏

I find watching Sarah Ferguson’s style on interviewing -esp the PM - almost nauseating. She asks a question then won’t wait for reply. All about trying to secure a gotcha moment. Albo handling it well.

The President said of the U.S. economy: "We are a department store, and we set the price. I meet with the companies, and then I set a fair price, what I consider to be a fair price, and they can pay it, or they don't have to pay it."

And then... I lost it.

We have a president who has no dignity and no sense of the dignity of a human being, especially one who is old and expects to die any minute.

Great interview with @markbutlermp.bsky.social on 7.30 re election & Dutton’s past form on Medicare. Totally unflappable & articulate showing he’s well across his portfolio. Hope he gets the chance to do more for Aust health system.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!
