Hey @thebostonceltics.bsky.social can you let NBC Sports Boston that we don’t need the weird high angle we’ve seen multiple times in the first quarter at Houston tonight. It isn’t enjoyable and the switch between the two different angles makes it a pain on the eyes. Thanks

Love the quote
"Every seed is an act of hope, fertilized with dedication. In these darkest days of the year, take a moment to remember: Resistance is fertile"
I wrote abt 50 "Letter from the Editor" columns at @sierramagazine.bsky.social. I think the final one was among my best:

Measure….reduce….that has to be the start, not magic
It is a while since I posted this, but just your annual reminder that Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) will never scale to compensate all emissions (& it would be a ludicrously expensive alternative to reductions).

If you like your money, then the razor-sharp focus would be on reducing emissions!

Don’t ever want to hear that ‘my vote doesn’t matter’
Looks like Democrats will end up ~7500 votes short of winning the House majority across three districts. That's the difference between having the power of the purse, subpoenas etc — or not — in a nation of 330+ million.

Optimist: the cup is ½ full

Pessimist: the cup is ½ empty

Proponent of dangerously incorrect carbon accounting: half of the cup has water in it, and the other half has avoided water in it. Therefore, the cup has achieved net zero water.
Optimist: the cup is ½ full

Pessimist: the cup is ½ empty

Geographer: actually, it all depends which projection was used
