I haven't been using it as long, but this has generally been my experience.
I've been using Kagi exclusively to search the web for almost two years now, and it's generally much better at filtering AI content. It also lets you downrank slop sites or block them completely, or uprank quality sites. Unlike its competitors it's not free, but it's been worth every cent for me.

Musk says millions of dead people get Social Security. That's a lie. Here's the truth: 30,000 people die a year waiting for an understaffed Social Security to approve disability benefits. Musk's plan to cut Social Security's staff by 50% will make this tragic reality even worse.

What the hell?
Jeff Bezos announced that the Washington Post opinion page will no longer publish viewpoints opposing personal liberties and free markets.

In light of this news, I want to emphasize that there is a strong firewall between opinion and news at our publication.

We had to get in on the video action too — Bluesky now has custom feeds for video!

Like any other feed, you can choose to pin these or not. Bluesky is yours to customize.

If you want to read a new book coming out but don't want to buy it, a great thing you can do is ask your local library to order it. The more requests they get, the more likely they are to acquire it and then lots of people will get to read it who othewise wouldn't.

Leveraging a weird world, a moody drive through the woods, and a ton of spooky sounds, Pacific Drive creates vibes that are uncanny, unsettling, and sometimes, easygoing.
