Low power mode on an iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 26 is embarrassingly hitchy. I’ve found most everything else with iOS 26 is fine, but I’ve stopped using low power mode because of how unpleasant the experience is.

I kinda like that ChatGPT simplified the model picker. I could never remember which model was best suited for the task I was giving it. So now, supposedly, it should route the request to the most appropriate model without me having to think about it. This is how a consumer product should work.

I first saw Napoleon Dynamite at the second-run, dollar theater. The scene where Napoleon is eating tater tots out of his cargo shorts elicited a theater-wide, audible “what the f***?!” from someone sitting two rows in front of me.

I’ve been using Codex with one of my side projects and while it’s amazing how it can go off to implement changes, I find very little joy in the process. I enjoy reasoning and writing code. This is instead describing the end state and reviewing code. Is this closer to how senior devs work?
