Hi bsky game devs!!

I'm the lead programmer on Slay the Spire 2 at @megacrit.bsky.social. I was also one of the early devs at @github.com!

I love architecting systems that are easy for other devs to work with and to build cool content on top of.

Here's some fun stuff I've helped make!

i love games with a lot of build diversity, but i hate coming up with the builds myself. i just want to follow a bunch of cool build guides and feel OP. is this a weird preference, or is this how most people are with these types of games?

fuckin cracks me up when you're overpowered for a level in a video game and the boss is dramatically like "you... fought... well..." after you one-shot his ass lmao

From Sept through Nov, levels of the virus in wastewater, one of the most reliable metrics now that cases are no longer tracked, were unusually low. At various points over that span, hospitalizations & deaths also neared all-time lows. That’s not to say we are in for a COVID-less Christmas.

my great regret about becoming a programmer: i find it impossible to enjoy city-building games anymore :( i used to be so enchanted by the magic of all the little people running around in there, but now that i have a rough idea of how it all works, i just don’t have any fun playing them. very sad :(
