This leans far too much into "trades are hard" territory for my liking tbh. So what? Your job is hard, that's why you get paid so much and there are only 30 of you at a given time.
I think the biggest issue between then and now is that the pool of available good players at the deadline has drastically decreased due to less teams selling and the overall talent disparity between good teams and bad teams.

Solid B for the Flyers draft, they certainly improved their prospect pool, but was hoping for a bit more high end talent or some creative trades. Overall happy with the haul though!

My initial thoughts are all positive. It's not a huge cost for a player w/top-half-of-the-lineup upside, whose age fits PHI's timeline, & (potentially) plays their biggest position of need.
