Today was the last day in lab for @tmweaver.bsky.social. We enjoyed lunch and gave him a 3D print of his first cryo-EM structure.

Tyler's era was marked by incredible science, friendship, fun, collabs, and cats! He will do amazing at UVA running his own lab. We will miss you buddy #gogetem 🥹

This is pretty impressive--closing the gap between superresolution microscopy and structural biology is one of the Holy Grails and this is a big step in that direction--check out the nuclear pore imaging

Chai-1 has just released its code and weights under the Apache 2.0 license, allowing broad commercial use for free. This structure prediction tool also incorporates spatial constraints for PPI prediction further increasing the accuracy of its models.
