Only right wing people are real. And that has always been true. Even the union members and activists were right wing, because they were in the olden days. In black and white and flat caps. The wokes don’t want you to know that. Of course. It makes sense now.

I think that's probably the answer, sadly. :-( I'm happier about binning things round here since learning that things that go in 'landfill' actually get incinerated to make electricity! (IF THIS IS NO LONGER TRUE DON'T TELL ME! THE CLOTHES RETIRE TO A FARM WHERE THEY WILL LIVE LONG HAPPY LIVES!)

I haven't had one in a while, which is a nuisance as I used to use them to take stuff to actual charity shops! (I'm sure you know this already but the kerbside collection things are a bit shit in that only a small percentage actually goes to the charity.)

Yeah, I've definitely had some shops tell me that they're willing to take rags, so presumably they have a deal that just about works for them? ASDA also have the 'George takeback' scheme which says it can take rags -- not very clear what they do with them though.

Interesting -- I have definitely bought clothes with labels cut out from charity shops! (I wouldn't give clothes with labels cut out to charity shops because I generally don't donate stuff that's damaged -- I assumed they'd just throw it away.)

(I'm not convinced the word is the problem -- I like the connotations of contentedness, fullness, satisfaction. And "content-free" still sounds worse! But so much of what's out there is just garbage, empty mental calories, packing foam.)
