NCAA Expands March Madness To Include 4,096 Teams
Virtually every major newsroom in the country has, in fact, been doing this all day. It takes time, and not all the answers are easily verifiable, especially considering the White House Press Secretary said the administration itself doesn't even know what is impacted when they issued the order.
Genuinely insane that a major newsroom isn't running a live post today trying to verify what is and what isn't being impacted by the federal funding freeze. Embarrassing how bad the media response is to this.
Based on the frantic questions I've googled recently — "how do executive orders works," "can gay marriage be repealed," "what is the Office of Personnel Management," "do food stamps still work," — only to find nothing from media outlets, I'm ready to say the mainstream media is in serious trouble.
