I’ve been hearing Adam talk through this piece in stages for a year but didn’t understand it because I don’t understand gaming or the history of D&D. The last time we had dinner he went through the whole thing and it blew my mind

I know there is an Age of Innocence movie already, but who have you mentally cast in various roles? My brain visualized Ellen Orlenska as Krysten Ritter and Julius Beaufort as Matthew McFayden (maybe because he is in that new 1880s miniseries). Not sure yet about Newland Archer 🏹

There is going to be a Trump gap of missing data in so many charts of this era. I only hope it’s temporary
i’m not sure the US can still produce national vital statistics (live births, deaths, etc). this is a shocking thing to say for a high income nation. very short thread.
