It does create a nice nostalgic sheen over things. This was from Maine over the summer (iPhone reference from logbook; I use the excellent Lightme Logbook app combo)

We used to call the little panel of election maps and results on the NYT homepage the "Jim" or the "mini-Jim" depending on its size (named after the editor Jim Roberts). What's on the NYT homepage right now is the "giga-Jim?"
