People who argue over Star Wars and Star Trek need to realize that they’re fighting over two different genres. Wars is Space Fantasy and Trek is Sci-Fi. They’re both outstanding examples of each. Shut up and let people enjoy things.

Today in 1896, Leonard Murray was born in Granton, Nova Scotia.
A graduate of the Royal Naval College of Canada, he was the only Canadian to command an Allied theatre of operations during the Second World War.
He played a central role in the Battle of the Atlantic.

Tommy Prince (1915 - 1977)
Prince served in both the Secord World War as a member of the Devil's Brigade and in Korea with the Princess Patricia's. He was one of only three Canadians to receive the Canadian Military Medal and the American Silver Star.
