Finished watching "Death by Lightning". Superb miniseries about a period of history that often gets overlooked. Brilliantly showed the backroom machinations and corruption in politics at that time. If Garfield had lived, I think he'd have been a good-to-great president. As for Charles Guiteau, wow

Finally saw "Bring Her Back", the Philippou Brothers awesome follow-up to the equally awesome "Talk to Me". As far as "Bring Her Back", most movies, whether you like them or not, remind you of other movies. This one didn't. A true original. #grapefruit

Beyond bummed at the passing of Ace Frehley. He was one of the greats. He seemed invincible, especially after his many near-misses. :( #RIPAce

A friend of mine just sent me a video of "The Wizard of Oz" at the Sphere in Vegas as an immersive (to put it mildly) experience. Incredible. I'm thinking of all the movies that they could do this with. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXNN...

This is a big win for intellectual freedom and will have big implications in other ongoing lawsuits and future laws aiming to ban books.

Great to see that a non-superhero, non-sequel can do big numbers at the box office. #weapons

In anticipation of seeing"Weapons" Friday, I wanted to watch Zach Pregger's previous film, "Barbarian" again. Even better second time around.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Loretta Swit. She was an integral part of M*A*S*H. Fave 2 Margaret moments both involved Radar - 1)Her freaking out when told she can't call her husband and she destroys the office. 2) Radar thinking he's walked in on something when she's giving Hawkeye a flu shot.

Watched "Train to Busan" a couple of nights ago. Very good! Little bit of "28 Days Later" and "Dawn of the Dead", plus some very emotional and poignant moments (not to mention some very tense moments). Some amazing films coming out of South Korea.

Sorry to hear about Val Kilmer's passing. The first thing I ever saw him in was the underrated '80s teen comedy, "Real Genius". After that, I guess it was "Willow" which I enjoyed so much in 1988, I never saw it again. He was a phenomenal Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone's "The Doors". "Heat" of course

Just watched "Heretic". Good but not quite great. Hadn't seen Hugh Grant in a long time. Still has the famous charm, but also added some slow-burning menace. Interesting, intelligent script. Grant's character's house is appropriately creepy. The final third could've been a little tighter. #Heretic

Brings to life Mozart's music and the man, himself. Tom Hulce is great as the title character but the star to me is F. Murray Abraham as Antonio Salieri, a contemporary and rival of Mozart's. Abraham won a well-deserved Oscar for his performance.
I am giving away the digital code to the 4K restoration of the theatrical cut of AMADEUS (1984). To win, you must be following me and I will DM the winner the code. Code is only redeemable in the U.S.
