I wouldn't lead with it on a date :)

My theory is that it's one of the ways I'm autistic. My brain often needs the JUST RIGHT level of input, eg too-slow video is terrible.

And maybe music keeps going too intense and then not intense enough

I'm a bit like this!

I don't often mention it because it's not wrong but it does feel really weird to be like that.

In terms of casually hearing music I seem average. Some I really like, some I don't. But I don't get really passionate about listening to music I really love.

Trying to think of there's any crimes you have to be more careful of if you ARE invisible...

Some American states you're allowed to carry a gun only if it's visible.

Trespass..??

Yes! Lawyer here, and you will pry the em-dash from my cold, dead hands (which have the windows shortcut in muscle memory).

I even have a mug about it!

One of my friends needs quite a few feathers for quills, but I don't know what the requirements are or if they've found enough. And they're in Cambridge. Is it worth me asking her given the distance?

I said in an interview that I have a lot of empathy for you because you lost your dream, too.

But Unbound's sales reports showing my second book as a flop when it actually sold out its print run was unfathomably cruel. Seeing Ingram's data, showing 10x the sales I was paid for, broke my heart.

And that guards thinking "What's good enough" is more common than guards thinking "How can we excel against unlikely threats". I need to remember that's more common in real life too! :)

I have to keep reminding myself, I don't need to plan HOW they break in or what the flaws are.

If I imagine "ok what's a reasonable sounding precaution they'd take with the resources and motivations they'd have" the design and opportunities just appear :)

That sounds fascinating.

I keep only seeing dropout in clips, I still need to watch whole episodes. (Apart from the Sam says episode, I saw that, that was amazing.)

But also, a LARP may still have other strengths even if dropout already nailed a similar thing. Or be amazing even if precedented :)

But! The next clause, "qui sibi nomen imposuit [papal name]", has been the subject of a long-running argument in the Vatican's Latin department. (Which is a whole separate thread about its history and ups and downs, but.)
