Senate is about to give a prestigious job to RFK Jr, a man whose anti-vaxx group had to pay nearly $1 million to women who accused him of sexual misconduct. There are other instances too.

Apparently, it is too much to ask that we don't reward men who abuse women.

Cassidy—a doctor—has violated his Oath and is a yes on Kennedy.

Kennedy is now almost certain to be confirmed.

People will die because of this; Kennedy at DHHS will cause deaths, full stop.

The crazy thing is, no one even doubts it.

But also no one cares, so here we are.

I just voted NO on RFK Jr. to lead HHS. None of his empty promises could undo the harm his past statements have already had on people’s health. He’s a flip-flopper, a conspiracy peddler, and a danger to our country.

He’s driven by self-interest, not by protecting Americans.

Are we to believe that people who did their taxes through it will have them deleted as well?

It sounds like Musk is claiming he “deleted” 18F, which would be a jaw-droppingly stupid thing to do, but doesn’t necessarily mean the software they built for IRS is also being deleted.

Not for nothing, but Direct File by the IRS was one of the best things the USG has done in years — it allowed millions of Americans to stop paying predatory fees to TurboTax. The literal only people who oppose it are TurboTax lobbyists.

So Musk lied. And what about filing season 2026? Are they just gonna cross that bridge when they come to it?
