Watching Shed Seven at Glastonbury can’t get the Rick Witter stinks of piss out of my mind, wondering as I watch does he stink of piss?, he says he doesn’t stink of piss but I think he maybe does stink of piss, god bless the legendary Neil Kulkarni. Chart Music Podcast. @simonprice.bsky.social

Whilst reading @simonprice.bsky.social Curepedia I thought it would be nice to have the songs playing in the background. The ‘Pictures Of You’ entry took the exact length of the song (7 mins 16 sec) to read, spooky. Going to try a few more as an experiment.

The main goal of protesting in whatever form or cause is publicity. Shining a spotlight on an issue even if you disagree is neither here nor there. Holding government to account is a right. As a proud Newportonian whose relatives can be traced to the Chartist riots it’s something I hold dear.

Got lost in @simonprice.bsky.social Curepedia book for many hours.
Remembering I owned his other book about the Manics I dug it out, found an unused gig ticket. Depression gripped me young I lost confidence and didn’t attend. I think that’s why Richey appealed, he knew how I felt, how i thought.

As a teenager I kept my love for The Cure hidden, shared only once with a girlfriend’s sister. I don’t know why. Actually I think I do..fitting in with a crowd who upon reflection weren’t worth it. On that happy note I’m about to wade into this huge tome by @simonprice.bsky.social

What a view for a meal. Took this picture roughly 7 years ago on an iPhone 8+. The food was great too, went back a few times Albufeira, Portugal…

Grey Heron managed to find a small fish in the murky, muddy depths that are the River Usk. Was surprised it actually found food. Although having photographed a dolphin in the very same river a few days before the habitat must be richer than it looks. Don’t judge a river by its brownness.

Happy VE Day! A time to give thanks to our ancestors for defeating fascism. And what a job we’ve done of honouring their legacy by ensuring it never came back. Bravo, everyone.

The Little Stint was showing very and quite close this morning with 5 Dunlin for company. The drake Garganey was distant feeding with it's head down 90% of the time, but is showing closer now apparently.

A very reasonable 25:21 from last night, with NFG Mullein. What a fantastic looking moth it is.
A few more NFYs came along too, namely Lime-speck Pug, Common Carpet and Garden Pebble.

I stopped by my parents' grave and heard a Baltimore Oriole. My father loved bird watching. They are not large birds and love to be way up in the canopy. Luckily, I had a long lens. #Birds #Nikon.
