yeah for sure, but then by extension, the muddying of the conversation is also by design so a nuanced response would be the right parry :)

i just feel like the ambiguity of AI as a term muddies the water so much that it ends up with everyone just projecting their ideology onto it (from both sides) to the point where it's just a political proxy battle, which is fine, just difficult to have nuanced conversations about anything ML-related

for sure, just always sad to see so much energy spent on reactionary takes, but i guess this is social media after all

the body is a wonderland (of pain)

there seems to be a whole mess of general inflammatory disease that is nearly impossible to diagnose. kind of hoping that research into long covid will shed some light on this stuff.

I have a similar thing. joint/body pain that last for days triggered by random food / stress / ???. have had it all my life. been to rheumatologists, allergists, GIs to no effect. i’ve self diagnosed it as general inflammation and maybe fibromyalgia?
