Lucky to have attended the 4th annual Trauma in the Bush educational event yesterday afternoon!

The event aims to take paramedics away from PowerPoints and classroom lectures into the real world and practice remote and wilderness medical care.

Best one to date!

Well… that’s that! Submitted my MSc dissertation last week. A massive thanks to @rcsi.bsky.social for such a positive experience, especially the faculty in the #Humanfactors in Patient Safety program. Couldn’t have done it without my terrific supervisor. Now. To wait.

A productive, but pricey weekend. 😅 But totally worth it!

Highly recommend “Still Not Safe” if you’re involved in #patientsafety & #humanfactors. Cannot recommend enough! It challenges what we think we know, the current paradigm & presents the reader with an opportunity to self assess while suggesting a path forward.

This is incredibly cool: if you search for a condition that’s affected your family, the site returns stats on how much NIH has done for that disease, *and* a contact form for reaching out to tell your Members of Congress why you want to see them defend NIH.
