I thought that maybe after writing The Family Web, it’d be easier to talk about real experiences… it’s a lot harder than I thought, y’all. I think hiding behind fake names and characters was what made it okay. It’s all out on paper. 1,400 words of the tip of the iceberg. All I gotta do is publish.

If Trump wants to deport undocumented migrants, they will still need a hearing before an immigration judge.
The next available final hearing date, based on current backlog of 1,478,623 asylum cases pending, is in 2029—after Trump has left office.
They haven’t though this through. Shocking.
