This country is circling the drain and it’s absolutely mind-boggling to me how many people continue to refuse to see it, even as decades of progress are erased right in front of their faces.

The problems were always there, but Trump gave so many people an excuse to go mask-off. Before he came along, I had no idea just how many pig-ignorant, morally repugnant racist cowards were all around me. But I suppose I’d rather know than not know.
