There are so many people on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram that simply read from AI-generated scripts and pass it off as their own insight and knowledge. Social media is all a performance. Fuck them.

I’ve always found paying for public transportation to be weird. Not a fan of the car-centrism of the U.S. We really need to implement fare-free public transit.

Reading a bunch of books this year has really solidified for me how awful the internet is in comparison nowadays. Obviously in terms of general hostility but more generally in terms of lack of depth, insight, reading comprehension, base of knowledge, etc

Just a reminder that ICE didn't exist until 2002. It's not some longstanding institution that must be maintained. It was created as a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11, and it could be gotten rid of as easily as it was created.
