To give you an idea of how terrible I am at gardening: I planted zucchini in like April. It is now July, and not only am I NOT drowning in zucchini, I have 0 zucchini. (I do have a couple of blossoms, though!)

We tried violin. We tried flute. They didn't quite take. So this Fall for homeschool music, I'mm'a just hand 'em a guitar and a bunch of YouTube videos and let 'em play! (Since they're already getting bonus sneaky music history in social studies...heh...)

I’m sorry, ONLY 43% of white men self-censor at work? So 57% of white men just go around blabbing out whatever pops into their heads at work? And we’re calling THAT “walking on eggshells???” Pretty sure 100% of the women I know self-censor at work. How else would one get through the DAY???

I’m still sorta surprised at how thoroughly Target misunderstood its customer—or, at least, one of its most important customers. Relatively well-off, college-educated suburban women do a disproportionately massive amount of consumer spending, loved Target, and are statistically not Trump voters
It’s pretty remarkable just how thoroughly Target got its shit wrecked for the anti-DEI stuff

An adorable family of deer have been hanging out in our yard all day, and probably I should be doing something to protect my plants from them, but nah - I'm growing deer now. (Actually they're mostly interested in our invasive honeysuckle, which - EAT UP, FRIENDS!!!)
