How do you forgive a nation that hated having a black president so much, it's given us a decade of Trump and has essentially regressed us, socially, to the 1960s?

While independent bookstores are giving out free whistles, hosting protest sign making events, and donating proceeds to mutual aid, Amazon is *checks notes* providing technology that assists ICE in their terrorizing of communities.

Independent bookstores deserve your support. Amazon does not.

Democrats need to SHUT THE FUCK UP about "ICE needs training".
Bullshit.
They are operating as intended.
ICE needs to be shuttered, and DHS needs to be investigated. People belong in prison.

-Bovino will leave MN and may lose his job
-Noem will face a Senate hearing and possible impeachment
-Senate Dems will oppose unconditional extension of DHS funding

The pushback is working.

We must keep standing up and speaking out against Trump's regime.

I'm sure a few ICE agents suspect this already, but it seems very clear that DJT, Miller & Bovino WANT an ICE agent to get killed. They need their own martyr. There is a reason they are putting them in increasingly volatile situations.

Today’s retreat is absolutely an attempt to take pressure off of Congress to rein in ICE so that a funding package can get through.

That pressure has been effective. We can celebrate Minneapolis’ win but we need to keep the pressure on. They’re not going to stop forever.

Will someone please ask Congress if they have a quota of how many Americans are killed before they remove the terrorist?

Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days.

His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

Greg Bovino being allowed to retire is not enough, it means he is eligible for retirement benefits. The reason this is all happening is because the slave-owning and Jim Crow south racists we’re not dealt with accordingly. He is not being dealt with accordingly…
His command is over. People in a Maine would tell you his blue city crackdowns are over. All they’re doing is turning his into an immediate scapegoat everyone can focus on while they continue these state terror operations.
BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...
