These harmful measures stand in the way of deals to fund the government.

All of them must be removed from any final spending package.

Senators are pushing for a fire sale of over 3 million acres of public lands—that’s an area larger than Connecticut. Families would lose access to some of their favorite trails and parks close to home. Once the land is sold and the no-trespassing signs go up, there is no going back.

These mountains, this landscape, this moment — none of it should be up for sale.

But the Senate’s reconciliation bill threatens to privatize up to 250 million acres of *our* public lands, including places like this in Durango, CO.

When they say “level the playing field,” what the really mean is: level the competition and clear the playing field for fossil fuels.

It would power 500,000 homes.
Create 1,000+ union jobs.
Strengthen American energy independence.

If #EnergyDominance is the goal, this #offshorewind project was it.

So why shut it down now, without justification?

“Our public lands are not for sale.”

@senatorhick.govpeeps.us and @senatorheinrich.bsky.social just drew a line in the sand, and every American who hikes, hunts, camps, or cares about conservation should stand behind them.

This is about defending our national treasures from corporate greed.
Some in Congress want to sell off our public lands to pay for tax handouts for the ultra-wealthy. Senator Hickenlooper said it loud and clear: "Our public lands are not for sale."

We're with him, and with every American who values our parks, forests, and open spaces.

Trump froze critical USDA conservation funding that farmers were owed. Now, USDA Secretary Rollins is releasing just 1% — leaving thousands of farmers STILL on the hook for upfront costs with no real relief.
