As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

I would like to offer a free seminar to the social media staff for all Democratic politicians called "stop posting screenshots of your posts from the nazi site here and start posting natively."

A weird thing about doing a Muppet Show podcast for four years is that once upon a time, I'd watch Florence Henderson sing "Elusive Butterfly" with subtle Muppet butterflies and think "what a waste" and now I would kill for The Muppets to produce this sort of thing again.

Hey, this is great! We owe it to ourselves to celebrate every victory!

That doesn’t mean the Roberts court hasn’t earned every ounce of criticism and pushback from the immense amount of pain they’ve visited upon a majority of American citizens falsely perceived to be in the margins of society.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court denied an attempt to challenge Obergefell v. Hodges, the case affirming marriage equality nationwide.

Our freedom to marry remains the law of the land.

It’s a bit of a new category (2012), so not in this iteration (I’m guessing we don’t count Shallow…)! But a precursor Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals gave a nod to Superstar on the original JCS cast album.

I LEARNED THE ANSWER TO THIS

Chris's Steakhouse was a New Orleans landmark

Chris Matulich periodically got bored, sold it, waited for the new owner to fail, and bought it back cheap

The sale conditions: Can't move it, can't change the name

He did this six times

Then he sold it to Ruth Fertel

Looking at the Grammy noms now, and Defying Gravity from the Wicked Soundtrack is nominated under Best Pop Duo/Group Performance... has that ever happened for a showtune from a soundtrack or cast album before?

Once again, the Supreme Court disgusts me by putting our most vulnerable neighbors even more at risk.
NEW: On the shadow docket, the Supreme Court lets Trump resume misgendering trans Americans on their passports, claiming "the government is merely attesting to a historical fact without subjecting anyone to differential treatment." All three liberals dissent. www.documentcloud.org/documents/26...
