It's normal for this material to be here (it's absolutely necessary to prevent damage, the GPU wiggling, etc). But it is NOT normal for the instructions to be inside as well. Huge faux pas right there imo.

You're not really missing out. Geometry is extremely useful for specific Fields, but if you're not in those fields, it's just extra padding to fill up your brain that you'll never use.

Division and earlier? That's all legitimately useful to pretty much everyone. Geometry and calculus? Not so much.

The secret is if you don't simplify, you can just leave the original number there.

This will piss off mathematicians because it defeats the whole purpose of doing a conversion, effectively treating the conversion as just a variable off to the side. And that makes me happy.
