Estinien being bad with money, despite being paid for laughs, is more sinister imo; as a child in a small village he probably wasn't exposed to a gil economy growing up, then when he was being indoctrinated & trained to be the Azure Dragoon, finances were handled for him (cont, briefly)

Weapon types are tied to jobs, but only as a gameplay contrivance. In-universe, there are dark knights who fight with sword and board, gladiators that dual wield, monks studying swordplay, and more. Does your WoL/OC ever use nonstandard weapons for their job?
