i do think its very fun that everyone in the msq (especially those in positions of power) thinks of the wol as their little hydrogen bomb that they can throw at ppl whenever they see fit and there is very little concern about the possibility of them getting injured. maybe the drk questline was right

it is so insane to see the current patches talk abt a populace radicalized by their avoidance of difficult subjects. and then watch the fandom & the story continuously tip toe into perfect resolutions so no nations are in conflict, no innocent person suffers from tempering, aether sickness, etc, etc

Gotta say: I've seen that "I wish WOL would get hurt more" post many times this week, and every time I vividly recall the mid-Heavensward backlash over WOL getting hurt "too much." Especially the posts/vids/"discussions" about how WOL getting drugged was uniquely "unsafe" for marginalized players.

Lho'to is good-looking in the way that people who take care of themselves are. Clean, fit, confident. He does have the nicest hair of all the Scions though (Y'shtola annoyed she can never get her tail as full and glossy as his)

I am sometimes uncharitable towards ffxiv's narrative but "you see, we voidsent celebrate halloween because it fuels our praise kink" is the kind of writing you simply won't find anywhere else
