Tangentially related: I am completely uninterested in DT takes that fail to acknowledge that a lot of what is currently not working—including capitulation to lowest-common-denominator storytelling—is also quite literally an industry-wide recession indicator that's true of most AAA games right now.

Gotta say: I've seen that "I wish WOL would get hurt more" post many times this week, and every time I vividly recall the mid-Heavensward backlash over WOL getting hurt "too much." Especially the posts/vids/"discussions" about how WOL getting drugged was uniquely "unsafe" for marginalized players.
