I keep thinking about wrathion reading the one romance book he has with a trans man in it over and over again. the book is clearly well loved and worn from being read a lot, more than the other books he has

(I think this would be a cute exchange in a wranduin fic!)

tiny bit of internalized transphobia hurt/comfort in the horny MoP wranduin chest touching fic... I was hesitating to keep this part in at first but the more I read it over the more I realized this fits wrathion too well to leave out

“Wrathion,” Anduin began one night, his voice barely above a whisper. His breath tickled Wrathion’s ear. “Can I touch your chest?” On the quiet balcony loft in the Tavern in the Mists, the two young men lay together in the Prince of Stormwind’s makeshift bed. Moonlight streamed in through the wooden slats of the window, draping them both in a soft, silver glow. Wrathion, in his draconic form, had flown in not long after the tavern’s patrons had gone to sleep, and transformed in Anduin’s arms. He wasn’t wearing his binder, not while he slept. He knew Anduin had seen the swell of his chest before, unbound beneath his clothes, but never had he felt it beneath his palms. Wrathion’s heartbeat quickened. He didn’t usually pay his chest much mind. It didn’t necessarily bother him, but it also wasn’t something he wanted other people to see. But if Anduin liked it, and wanted to feel it... Anduin was the only person he trusted to see it. “Okay,” Wrathion whispered back. “You can touch me.”

when wrathion was young, dragon scales were faintly visible on his face. he also had to bind his chest
now older and more skilled with his magic, he’s figured out how to get his chest flat, but the scales make it imperfect and are the equivalent of having scars there
