Willy Wonka experience ass event lol
The scene at Andrew Cuomo's election night party, held in a very cavernous space on the fourth floor of the Carpenters Union Hall.

There's a bar serving beer and wine ("donation-based") and a stage set up for an eventual speech.

Polls close at 9 p.m.

Waffle House remains undefeated in terms of vibe, customers, and employees.
Can confrirm @edsbs.bsky.social that the vibes in a Memphis Waffle House are unmatched. Line cook brought his Bluetooth speaker in and is picking songs between making waffles.

The guys who sneer about Gender Studies courses are the ones who most need to take them.
Despite patriarchy's persistence, growing numbers of men believe they have it worse off than women. And, new research shows this "male victimhood" ideology is most common among men who aren't facing hardship. Which means what they're really feeling is status loss. 1/

Male victimhood ideology driven by perceived status loss, not economic hardship, among Korean men
Research published in Sex Roles suggests that male victimhood ideology among South Korean men is driven more by perceived socioeconomic status decline rather than objective economic hardship.

Watching the Roma/Lazio game with @stcronin.bsky.social and even I have to admit it’s thrilling. Very happy for Pellegrini.

At halftime, I’m encouraged so far. Bucks looking great despite no Giannis or Dame. Love to see Brook, Bobby, Khris all playing well. With Rollins in some foul trouble, need to see some other guys making shots. If they get hotter on the three and start doubling BP, the second 1/2 looks v different

Basketball Reference is so integral to my internet life that I sometimes accidentally append it to unrelated searches like “baby RSV symptoms b ref” or “Skeet Ulrich filmography b ref”
the sports reference series of websites are some of the last good ones on the internet. they’ve never once changed their design to ruin it, have never hid critical functions behind a paywall, the stathead stuff they do put behind a paywall is incredible/worth charging for. i hope we never lose them
