Useful language and a really interesting thread about a relatively new phenomena to BlueSky of bots that are attempting to drive hostile engagement.
And if you're looking for language to understand this, can I suggest algorithmic hate, ambient hostility, argument bots, and cruelty spam.

So about ten years ago I found a small network of bots on Reddit dedicated to spreading hate. The thing about it is that these weren't even responding to political topics - they were just responding to random keywords with insults and hate.

I have been experimenting with various ways of building a #SaintsFC feed that attempts to block spam and other unwanted content.
This is my current favourite if anyone else is interested in using it:

Hey @graze.social been having some issues since last night with editing and updating a feed:
When I make an edit, I can't update (reverts to previous) although the edit appears to go into the history.
Can't restore from history.
Can't delete entries from the word list (can't click on x).
