Even if he wins he'd be 74 when he takes office and if something happens he'd be replaced by a likely GOP governor. If he ran for governor he stands a much better chance of winning and would have a younger Lt. Governor. This is a selfish decision on his part. He just wants back in Washington.

I've seen many faculty/staff/admin in higher education act like what's happening just requires some tweaks or pivots and that everything will eventually return to normal. It won't.
You can't pivot from extortion, hostile takeovers, fascism, spineless leadership, lack of fight, or lack of integrity.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

All people's rights under the Constitution are, per the Supreme Court, 100% alienable. If you cannot hire a lawyer and engage in effective litigation against the power of the entire executive branch of the federal government, you have no rights at all.

I did an event in DC & there was a party for donors etc after. Was talking to 2 ppl & I said "Things are so bad." They said "No this is how it is. Things swing one way, then another. It's normal."
