I make cool projects and create content about (mostly) technical topics. I also rant way too much about making it remotely possible to get around without a car.

It's on apt. It's literally on Cargo. It's on DockerHub with ads. It's literally on nuget. You can probably find it on snap. Dude it's on portage. It's a Homebrew original. It's on pacman. You can download it on nixpkgs. You can go to pkgsrc and watch it. Log onto the Windows Store right now.

@tangled.org is such a great role model for projects in this moment

- actually does the thing: useful, accessible
- innovates/differentiates at *product* level: stacked review
- hybrid at proto layer (git and AT), pulls in bsky profile data
- built in europe by small amitious team

I should make an ATProto package registry (I will probably have zero time to do this)
Yeah, exactly. This was a decision made a long time ago that made sense back then because doing account management securely is very hard. Now it might make sense to do something else, but the assumptions are entrenched..

if you notice quasisymmetric behavior in your mirror, your first priority is to remain calm. do not acknowledge the aberration in the presence of the mirror. do not allow your eyes to linger on the aberration. navigate to a mirror-free room before calling the hotline.

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation
