Genuinely sad that we will no longer have the great Michael D Higgins as Uachtarán na hÉireann. An absolute gentleman and a scholar. He set the template for how this role should be represented by future presidents with his kindness, decency and respect for all. Go raibh míle agat. Finscéal! 💚🤍🧡
