I’m glad that the last show will be Movements. Part of me refuses to believe that Chain is really closing because I spent my whole youth there and I can acknowledge how fortunate I was for that but damn. This is heartbreaking.

My eternal gripe on something that's strangely divisive is that FUPA does NOT mean "lower belly", but the pubic fat area, AKA the mons pubis. You don't need to have a larger belly to have one, either-- nor do you always get a FUPA when you're fat. Lower bellies are great! But they aren't FUPAs!!

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".
