Whether it’s Barack Obama being the editor of Harvard Law Review or Donald Trump narrowly passing a cognitive test used to detect dementia, there’s plenty of serious intellectual accomplishments on both sides of the aisle.

As I watch Jack Smith testify to Congress I can honestly say that having someone of his caliber in the world eases my mind. When the day comes, and I believe it will, for accountability for the crimes and corruption of the Trump administration, he is exactly the kind of person we will need.

Many Congress people are leaving. If they have decided to give up their political career, why not just stand up and do their jobs now. Congress is not fulfilling its duty and this lawless administration is running rampant

Heather Cox Richardson’s Dec 9 Letter From An American should be required reading for every person. She absolutely nails it

Shouldn’t there be more of an outcry regarding the “peace” deal Trump is shoving down Ukraine’s throat. It is in essence a Russian wishlist

You may not be able to afford rent and groceries, and your health insurance may be about to skyrocket in 42 days, but the good news is that the Saudis got F-35s, nuclear tech, and security guarantees after putting hundreds of millions in Trump’s pocket.

The president had a MRI but won't say why.

He had bruises on his hands but wouldn't say why.

He just had an 'annual medical' even though he already had his annual medical.

He got shot in the ear but has never released the medical records relating to it.

How is any of this ok?

I am hearing the rationalizations trickle in: embarrassing that we couldn’t accommodate many people; we had to pay millions for tents and heaters; other presidents have made changes what’s the big deal. I am gobsmacked!!!! And furious, yet again

Qatar gave Trump a $400M jet. Trump gave them a military facility on US soil.

The UAE bought $2B of Trump's stablecoin. Trump gave them access to rare AI chips.

Saudi Arabia invested $2B in Kushner's firm. Trump sold them $142B in arms.

If this isn't corruption, what is?

Just sat at a restaurant bar here and when asked about putting on the baseball game the bartender asked if it was on Fox… because they don’t have Fox on their channel list….they do not air Fox. In Iowa! Am pretty excited about that!!

It is still important to understand that Hamas is a terrorist organization by charter who have opposed the 2 state solution because they want the destruction of Israel.They took money for years from Iran and, rather than feeding the Palestinians, they used it to buy weapons and make tunnels

In 1944 German General Von Choltitz, recognizing that his country’s leader was “insane,” refused orders to burn Paris to the ground. Wondering how many of our military leaders at the pentagon today can relate

Far as I can tell, Robert Redford was:
* successful at everything he tried
* genuinely intelligent & insightful
* desired by women
* envied by men
* an absolute mensch to everyone he dealt with
* a tireless, lifelong philanthropist
... and he died peacefully in his sleep.

10/10 life. No notes.
