The approaching anniversary is hitting many of us like a brick. I keep revisiting what we were doing almost 2 years ago: crying, protesting, screaming... 'no es una guerra, es un genocidio' & 'boycott Israel'. We were punished for it, as a collective, and it's only gotten worse.

The thing about permanent evil is that it seeps in gradually, so much so that if we permit small, incremental, insidious changes for the worse over time, we won't even realize when we crossed the point of no return into, say, fascism. It will feel like it's always been there.

Can you really know moral depravity if you've never been morally depraved?
