The protests, once a week, were huge. Each time I was in awe of how many people came out to stand up for justice in Bilbao (but not surprised). Even so, it took nearly 2 years to get the Spanish government to do the right thing, which is more than most did, but it's been TWO YEARS of total impunity.

The approaching anniversary is hitting many of us like a brick. I keep revisiting what we were doing almost 2 years ago: crying, protesting, screaming... 'no es una guerra, es un genocidio' & 'boycott Israel'. We were punished for it, as a collective, and it's only gotten worse.
