There are plenty of nice photos of him on the red carpet or in shows, which is what media outlets would USUALLY show when someone dies... but instead they are intentionally picking these disheveled pics of him for every article. Because they are racist, homophobic, or both & tryna spin the story.
It says a lot about where we’re at in this country that a beloved voice actor was murdered by his homophobic neighbor and every headline is still running passive defense for his killer, doing everything not to call this hate crime what it was. These are scary times. RIP to Jonathan Joss.

Interesting but fully unsurprising. One of these was the series/setting presumably consistent with hypermasc cishet gamer shit (who freaked out about its queer undercurrents) and one was the "girly" fantasy queer metaphor game about ~relationships~, in the public eye. Obv EA favored the former.
While I was at BioWare, EA *always* preferred Mass Effect, straight up Their Marketing team liked it more. It was modern. It had action. They never quite knew what to do with DA, and whenever DA outperformed ME, ME got the excuses. If you ask me, it was always just shy of the axe since DA Origins.
Wow.... this makes so much awful, shifty sense. It has seemed to me, from the outside, that there has been a preference for ME over DA. The launch of DATV and the residual layoffs seemed more of a hit job from inside than just a troll problem.
