hi, the clone wars was a good show. i'm very excited that i get to follow up the series finale of the clone wars with the series premiere of the bad batch, one of the best hours of star wars ever made.
i hope the rest of the bad batch isn't so underwhelming this time around, but this combo rules.

One thing I'll say about DC not only canceling Red Hood, but recalling the first issue and refunding stores for buying it, is that you can still get Neil Gaiman's work through them. one of the wildest things about rewatching the clone wars (2008-2020) immediately after rewatching the prequels is how the separatists go from a functionally useless "bad guy" that has little to no actual on-screen ideology and exists purely as an excuse for the clone wars to happen in-universe...

i can’t believe bluesky would ban people for this. not bluesky, the web site that allowed users to register slurs as usernames. not that one. not the web site that bans trans people for being a little rude in the face of dehumanization. who bans palestinians begging for their lives. not that one

the fun thing about star wars: clone wars (the tartakovsky cartoon) is that it's pretty much the only piece of prequel era media in which the jedi, including guys like kit fisto who ostensibly amount to background extras in the movie, actually do cool shit and seem like the heroic figures of myth

i've been watching fan-edited "extended editions" of the prequels that attempt to reintegrate the various deleted scenes back into the movies, and having actually seeing the full version of anakin and padme going to naboo to meet her parents edited into the movie, i'm convinced a robot directed aotc
