I keep seeing some version of this, just want everyone to be clear, if you die with a mortgage, the bank doesn’t get the house. That’s just not how mortgages or inheritances work. Whoever inherits the house can generally take over the mortgage, refinance, or sell it and pocket the equity

Got done shoveling just in time for the next snow storm to hit. Lol.
But the funniest thing was one of my cats thought she was slick and ran out when I was getting the shovel out only to hit the snow and run back inside where she promptly laid on a heat vent.

One of the talking points I keep seeing from Democrats is that part of the deal is that it will "ensure federal workers receive back pay" but that's the existing law!
That's not something you've won in negotiations. That's just the letter of the law. You don't get to claim that as a win.
