The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

Wikipedia editors need to up their opsec. There's a full on war against any independent sources of authority and the oligarch project of taking down Wikipedia is part of it.

🚨BREAKING: Democrats have secured HUGE victories in two Virginia special elections. They have held onto seats in SD32 and HD26, ensuring that Democrats will remain in control of the House AND the Senate. This is a big deal.

One in every four online purchases will be returned. During the holidays, that number is even higher.

In 2023, Amanda Mull went inside a facility that sorts through all the stuff American shoppers don’t want, to see what happens to the things we return. theatln.tc/jSRvsUv3

Strikingly, the only group that responded en mass and IMMEDIATELY to the neo-Nazi march this weekend in Columbus was a group of black men.

Everyone else? Oh, they put out statements. Black men linked arms and marched the NEXT day.

And this is why I say “Godspeed” to everyone who ain’t us.
The only weekend march that mattered – Matter News

I walked four hours today. Cried all over Boston and Cambridge. Saw some art as well as a modern dance performance.

Lots of convos with terrified friends and neighbors, many of whom are planning on leaving Ohio.
Today, Nazis proudly protested in what used to be my neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio. I lived on that block for five years.

As my friend Kiese Laymon has said “there’s no safe [for us] in America, only safer.”

I’m staying where it’s safer.

And I know my worth and needs.

Godspeed.
