For years we've heard from the right about "welfare queens" and other so-called "freeloaders" pulling one over on the government.

But actually, it's the wealthy who are the real freeloaders — pulling one over on us all by skirting their taxes.

Where is the outrage over that?

This. Just as you started to think that the local election results would make them rethink their approach, they have only gone and done worse.
And this is why Starmer will never out-Reform Reform.

He could give the whole Rivers of Blood speech and the Enoch Powell fan clubs would reject him.

They’ve picked their man for their uncompromising rhetoric… all Starmer is doing is losing his base by showing he’s unprincipled on any position.

A very simple solution to UK government's problems, but they would rather appease the fascists than do the right thing.
Our three-ingredient recipe for a stronger economy and thriving democracy:

1️⃣ Tax the rich
2️⃣ Pay the people
3️⃣ Spread the power

It really is that simple.

It is actually very difficult to stomach their approach to pretty much anything, but especially this backward step. Appeasement has never worked.
Labour has chosen nativism over growth.

Good oped from former Conservative defence minister Tobias Ellwood:

"Every flag taken down is a signal. Every act of hesitation is seized upon. Reform UK may think it’s making a statement about British identity, but globally, it’s being read as weakness, division, and retreat."
Tearing down Ukrainian flags won’t boost Reform’s popularity – it will bolster Putin
Flying the Ukrainian flag is not about ‘virtue signalling’ or picking sides in a partisan scrap. It’s about standing with a democratic nation under siege, writes Tobias Ellwood. Reform UK may think…

More than 150 years onwards enough if white supremacy survives to enable MAGA, AfD and Farage. Because these people are arrogantly ignorant and revel in their ignorance. We need more books like this:

It’s no surprise that if you give Farage the run of the place, he’ll start winning.
Time to do your actual jobs and start interrogating him on his Brexit shitshow, his funding, his Trumpiness, his idiotic manifesto, his real plans for the NHS… instead of drumrolling him into No.10

“Starmer needs to start governing. Labour need to stop triangulating and start running the country. They are wasting the term they were given, worrying about a second one. They can do a lot of good, if they stop being terrified of losing power in 2029 and start using the power they have in 2025.”

The AFD are a far right racist and self-serving party that is built in hypocrisy and lies. So there's little surprise that Trumpites are in favour of it.

C. 2014 Putin also "renamed" some things in his attempt to rewrite Soviet history. This is why learning history and from failure is important. Some people and countries have done. Others revel in their misguided superiority. However, there are historians and history, and we tend to be judgemental.
Casualties in World War II:

Soviet Union: 26,600,000.

United States: 407,316.

And the Russians got to Berlin first.

So, no, the United States did not do "more than any other Country, by far, in producing a victorious result 'on' World War II." That is just propaganda.
